The coiled pipes are also known as spiral pipes,pipe coil, or  serpentuator,the curved pipes are often used for heat transfer between or amount different fluid material that go through the pipes.With extra surface created by the curved pipes,the pipes can exchange more energy within limited space.

The turning radius related with the pipe radius,commonly the minimize turning radius is not less the 1.5 pipe radius.
